Cool. I've seen some images in Audi Driver. Lots of potential to be a cracking car when it's finished.

lol, ive seen one pic from the rear but from the info hes gave me it sounds like it could be sweet!!

Got some plans for it but first thing is to get it on the road to take it back off the road again lol

I was looking at Neil's car two weeks ago ( not to buy -we were just looking when I was around there trying to help with a garage door !). It looks really solid , ( more than I can say for the garage door !!!)virtually no rust ( but then it has been in his garage for the last 15 years !!). Think it has loads of Ur suspension bits on it now as well.
I remember riding in it soon after he bought it, and he also used it to tow his Beetle to Beetle Cup races. I know he will be sorry to see it go but as he says, realistically he has no time to work on cars as he's always writing/visiting/driving them - and that often includes weekends .
