Default 3TDi engine technical info needed

OK OK so it's not my classic, but need the full schematics and as much info as possible on the 3TDi (BKN) engine.
Mine has started going into limp mode with a 'Fuel regulation fault'. Need to know which sensor or sensors the ECU uses to bring up this fault code. Cheers all.

Yeah, what's the code?

A leaking EGR can cause this.

Code is this one:

004195 - Fuel Pressure Regulation: Control Range Not Reached
P1063 - 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded - Intermittent
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 00110011
Fault Priority: 0
Fault Frequency: 9
Mileage: 143934 km
Time Indication: 0

Strangely I have not had it come up since replacing the fuel filter that someone said to change. Cannot believe they are that sensitive to a dirty filter assuming that this was the issue.
I always like to know the complete ins and outs of the engines and electrical systems of any of my cars, but trying to get full info on the 3TDi is nigh on impossible. Do Audi think 'normal' people are not clever enough to repair these modern engines or am I being sceptical when I say they are just after charging £70 for a diagnostic
