Default Diff lock fork gaiter

Im still in need of one of these the oil leak from the rear diff on my s2 is getting worse.
Its NLA from Audi and ive tried many other places but no joy.

Does anybody have one of these new or used or even on a knackered diff?

Part labelled no. 5 in the diagram. Rubber sleeve that slides over the diff lock fork, push fit into the differential casing and a clip to secure it to the fork. p/n 017525075A.

Interresting.... 017 525 075 A - Bellow/Faltenbalg, became NLA in March this year (2011)... It's actually used on a 1996 RS2 as the latest model... Wonder what Audi is thinking of...

Since it's only recently gone NLA I have not found references to an alternative on the 'net... Can I suggest you dismount it and bring it to a 4x4 shop, bring a sixpack to the inventory manager, go through his inventory and search for anything that could be used as a replacement ????

i know its not got the 'angle of the dangle' like the audi fork gaiter but might be worth a go? wouldn't be the end of the world if not at a few quid.


After another reads i noticed its for the "actuator" not the locking for itself.
