Another idea Is it worth contacting a few local scrap yards just to warn them about this stolen GT? It might help to catch these bast***s if they will decide to weigh it in??

Divide every price in 4, then youl'll get rough idea how much is it in GBP. As I said before, not all of them are saints, but I just cannot see the point of the risk stealing a classic Audi from 1300 miles away, strip it and sell the parts.. Ain't worth it. is it? Or is it me?
got more there than UK by the looks of it.

Still no news unfortunately so looking more and more likely its gone for good

No disrespect meant to our Polish or Lithuanian community by my comment's, this was something that was something thats was mentioned to me by the police.

Been in contact or visited every scrapyard in my area and called pretty much everyone I can find, car was last seen about 20 miles south of my place so inreality it could have gone anywhere.

Parts to look for if they appear on E-bay;

G-max suspension kit
Stainless Steel exhaust, 2" bore
Drilled and grooved discs' with EBC greenstuff pads
Standard 14" Ronals (bit scruffy but ok with good matching tyres)
Mint Quartz/Anthracite Interior (driver's seat is like new)
Front subframe, powder coasted, with new wishbones, ball jonts, bushes
Mint headlights
Mint smoked tail lights
Boot lid with colour coded spoiler (Lago blue (Y6Z))
Doors, wings etc all in good condition (Lago blue (Y6Z))
Clear glass (windscreen with top tint) reg number D725 GYR is etched on all glass.

Would be appreciated if any of these parts come up, and you have any doubts about the source you let me know so I can check it out.

Cheers
Andy

When you report a stolen car to the police, don't they forward the car details to all the border patrols so they would atleast look out for it if it tries to cross the border? I mean you hear about all this technology like cameras on the motorways checking every car's plates to see if any are stolen or not but in the end of the day.. seem to be no results. I've also posted on facebook and I've told my uncle in Bulgaria about the list of parts he should look our for as he is in the auto part trade business.... Seeing as that bulgaria seems to be a gathering point for stolen cars from across europe...
Terribly sorry to hear and I sincerely hope you get your car back, if not atleast meet the ones who did it. If you do.. i've got a baseball bat with a big nail in it, you're more than welcome to borrow it!!

This i worry about, if mine got stolen i think they would offer me maybe £400, then put my insurance up £500.

Maybe your coupe is worth far more, i hope your premium doesnt go through the roof

Highway insurance iirc were the same bunch of to553r's who did the agreed value on my old coupe gt and then refused to honour the valuation when it got smacked up despite the photos being stamped and the policy acknowleging the valuation.
