Default 2002 '02' A6 2.5 TDi SE Avant
Seller Type : Private
Vehicle Make : Audi
Vehicle Model : A6
Price : £2995
Location : Telford
Additional Details : V5C (Logbook) ,Taxed ,MOT'd

Up for grabs is my superb mile muncher A6 avant.

Its the 02 facelift model so has a few more bits of chrome trim etc and slightly updated interior which is nice. Mettalic grey with polished alloy roof rails.

145k with full service history and all mot's etc 155bhp 2.5 V6 engine pulls like a train and sounds lovely!

MOT & Tax.

Reasonable spec all the usual refinements plus the SE stuff incl

elec windows all round
dual zone climate control
trip computer
cruise control
front fogs
6cd in dash cd player / changer & 8 speakers plus sub

On the sports spec suspension so sits slightly lower and is firmer than usual SE wallow.

All working nicely and drives spot on, doesn't need for anything at the moment apart from the rear wiper fixing (doesn't wipe and i've not got round to looking at this yet).

only bad points other than the wiper is due a bit of age related wear and tear (grey on steering wheel worn, buttons on the dash a bit scratched etc) and it looks like its had some paint on the rear 1/4 before but nothing major, just being fussy!

generally a sound car and will give good service, only selling due to wanting something slightly smaller (1.9tdi A4 / Passat), whilst the 2.5 tdi is fantastic 50mpg no prob on a run, we were getting nearer 65mpg in our old 1.9tdi and when we do around 25k a year it makes the difference!

Would make fantasic towing car, but has never had a towbar fitted, but for the right offer i do have a Westfalia detatchable towbar to suit it.

I'll put some more details and photo's up soon.

Looking for £2995 ono.

Will trade on a 2001 on a4 / passat 1.9tdi.

technically its downgrading from the 2.5 to a 1.9 so Beej can get her silly frugal MPG figures again.

I've been using it all this week and i'm gutted that it'll be going, its just got so much grunt

I test drove the 1.9 before i got this and it was just gutless in comparison

I have to say my little 1.9tdi aint bad at all it should be 110 bhp but when I got it checked she's 119bhp to start with and im having it remapped so should get about 150bhp plus on her so should be ok

I guess it's down to what power you're used to. My 1.9TDi is remapped to 175 but it soulless, lifeless and only has a few guts!!

well why faff about with 1.9's when you can start off with 150bhp, remap it to best part of 200bhp have more torques than you can fit in the cavernous boot and you have the lovely V6 growl

The sister in law has just wrecked her golf 1.9tdi clutch and dual mass flywheel trying to tow a caravan, wouldn't happen in this solid load lugger

Or why faff about with only 200bhp, when a 2.7T remapped with 321bhp, mega torques, same cavernous boot, much nicer V6 growl, leather heated fully electric Recaros, Bose etc?! lol Oh, yeah, insane Insurance premiums I miss that car.
