Well despite plenty of advice to the contrary,I've gone and done it, yes Ian, I've bought a mobile dog basket!
Might seem a bit flash, and well, yes it is - but those who know my circumstances will know why I've done it.
Very sad to see the quattro go and I never really got to grips with the integrale, but I think I've done the right thing for this moment in time.
It's a 2005 Jaguar xkr convertible in "ultraviolet" with 25k on the clock. Its an auto and goes like a stabbed rat

. I bought it last week from a lovely lady who swore like a trooper but had tears in her eyes when I drove off.
Unfortunately the Wife loves it (she's out in it now) but thats got the benefit of making my life a bit easier

Not an Audi but it's made me smile

I'm quite fond of "old style" cars tbh. thats part of the reason i like this and why I like "classic-audi"- it's only 6 years old but its from a much earlier way of thinking.
And strangely, although its got 400bhp on tap, I've just been cruising along gently listening to The Pet shop boys (on cassette- there's no ipod connection!)
