it does make you wonder, what makes me laugh is the thought of what happens to all the money that you pay if you don't have an accident, do they have a scrooge mc'duck tower and once a week go for a swim in it?

if you've got a specialist type car then the specialists are the ones to try.
they want the business and understand how we treat them.
the general boys on compare etc dont want the hassle.
For a bit of a laugh andgeneral interest I ran a quote through for my potential next car.
Best on Compare was £1500, through the club it was only £400- same usage etc

If you think you have it bad over there you want to try insurance here in N.Ireland. Easily double the quotes and the south of Ireland is even worse. About two yrs ago I was paying around £800 fully comp. on an A4 1.8T B5, thats with clean licence, full no cliams etc

Ive done 4 cars on a multi policy totally about £1200 all fully comp and all protected no claims bonus and my old insurance wouldnt insure my cabby as it was "high risk" another company wanted £1098 for it but I only paid £425 with them last year the insurance world has gone mad honestly it really doesnt pay to be a careful driver and have a clean licence you'd be better driving like a d*ckhead and have 6 points and a sh*tty car and still your insurance would be the same it just makes me mad the motorist is ALWAYS being ripped off Rant over with

Hello mate maybe to late but it might be worth trying Paul Smith in bridgewater, he does my lorries, motor traders and goods in transit. He is normally very good. Insurance has rocketed though this year, must be all those unisured drivers out there and the fact that we ain't in a recession

yeh like we have really come out of it yet, government will say anything and think we are all stupid enough to believe them. Know 3 friends/relatives who have lost there job this year so far and not been able to find another yet and many like me finding there disposable income down to nearly zero due to tiny or no pay rises and massive increases in prices everywhere. Time for a revolution...
Rant over feel better already
