Default Weber DMTL 32/34 on a 1.8 B3 80

I had one of these on a '85 B2 80 many years ago and again on a 1.8 Scirocco GT that replaced it. It was a wonderful carb, giving over 40mpg easily.
Should I consider one for the B3 I'm getting even though the original (Pierburg?) works fine..?

If it aint broke.......

But if you have a spare £200 lying about, go for it.

They are sooooooo much more responsive.
