Dermot also owns Franz Beckenbauers ex Sport too. Copenhagen Blue with Zermatt Silver wheels, as ordered from the factory, rather than the white ones.

Default FOTO's

Dear Sir,

I am looking for pictures from the "Sutton" crew in the 80'es. We used to rally 3 A2's in the Dutch and European championship for John Bosch. Mechanic's that used to work for us were: Steven Black, Norman Gould, John O'Conner, John Barnes, and "little" Terry ?.

Amongst the pictures you have posted is the wreck of the car RQ 52 wich was stripped at DSM and several parts were used to rebuild and prepare the ex Mouton A2 lwb 44-NMN which we bought from DSM along with a service van VW LT - reg. LNV-953-Y with a full kit of spares.

Hope you can help me further in my quest.

Thanks foy replying in advane.

dear Sir,

amongst the foto's you have posted, is he wreck of one of the A2 's we used to run for John Bosch in teh Dutch- and European championships from 1985 - 1987. I was amased to find this picture since we have none. Do you have more pictures of this period? Also I am trying to get in touch with ex- DSM staf like John O'Connor, Steve Black, John Barnes, Norman Gould, Steve Bond, who might have "on event" pictures of the Rothmans Audi TEam - Barron Audi Team NL.

Thanks for your reaction, and hope that....................

Best regards,

Yes that cabrio Golf, what a load of tosh on the e-bay listing, it was just a car that Sutton had at his holiday home in Florida, no more no less.

The converted Sport went into the Patrick collection not long after, is it still there? I know the bill for doing the work was substantial because everything was done including swapping the wipers to sweep in correct pattern, something even Audi did not bother to do on early coupes. There was a rumour at one point that it was going to be changed back again to left hand drive because there was a feeling, justified in my opinion, that altering it had devalued it, so it may no longer exist as right hand drive.

Interesting perspectives when it comes to stuff like this in that yes the job was interesting and we had some great times but at the end of the day it was just that, a job that paid a wage.
the crashed car was either the one from a belgian event in sept 85 or hunsruck earlier same year cant sort out in my mind which
