Seats aren't really a big issue, I've put up with mine getting worse since I've had the Coupe! Like Milkman said, if the rest of the car is ok then who cares! Get a seat cover as a temporary measure if you don't want it on show!

Well, I bought it. More pics on the way, but in the meantime does anyone know if Audi stocks original fabric for upholstery? Ambitious I know......

Very ambitious from the main dealer network unfortunately but perhaps Audi Tradition might have something

I think some people use the material from backs of the
Seats & Even the back seat lower valance & then replace with vinyl.

Excellent tactic Slacky. Thanks guys. Car still in Wales at my friend's house as not had time to collect. The rad allegedly leaks (was supposed to be new?!) so am working out if it is better to recon or replace. Do we know if new ones are easily available?

Seat covers on and will investigate the fabric once it's over here in the east midlands.

One more novice question; are the multi spoke alloys the correct for this era or should it have had cookie cutters?

Hey Jonny, well done on the purchase, just for you to bear in mind I have a spare set of cookie cutters if your interested, and also some seat covers in Dark Blue that came off my donor acouple of months ago.
They're in pretty good nick but deserve a wash
Let me know if your interested

Bry
