80 sport idle switch - urgent

1985 audi 80 sport idle switch , located on the underside of the throttle body, has a green wire running from it to a white connector plug with two pins, 5cylinder has black wire and three pins so wont fit . needed urgently as the car is goin for engine tuning.. thanks..

Do you mean the Idle Stabilisation Valve?

no , not the stablisation valve.... its a small micro switch secured by two screws on the underside of the throtle body..

never had any bother with one b4 lad, i hav a mk2 golf gti scrapped at the house if ye want to see if thats the same, shes an 89 one
