Default Mix n Match Quattro on the M5

Spotted on Sunday in the rain!! Black and red Ur Quattro being towed on an A Frame in Somerset. Hope the seats were covered because there was no glass and it was chucking it down

Does an A-Frame cover towing regs?? John Law was out in force so hopefully you didn't get a tug.

An a-frame basicly makes the car a trailer so normal towing rules apply, i've towed everything from a mini to a transit van with one and i much prefer them to a dolly and never had any problems with one either, and they will break down to fit in your car boot for easy storage.

The car could possibly be something to do with AM Cars if it's within the Somerset area. They're based in Ilminster so could have been heading to an event!

Default It's mine!!

That was me!, towing the car from Cannock, Staffs back to my house in Troon, Cornwall
It has sat in my moms garage for over 5 years & I decided it was time to,either sell it or restore it.
I made an half hearted attempt at selling, but my heart overruled my head. Hooray!!!
So now she going to get the attention she deserves, in fact, work has already begun.
The glass was all in the place so the interior is fine.

Incidently, it towed perfectly well on the A frame,(after removing the intercooler & oil cooler, just in case). It is perfectly legal to tow a car without t&t on a frame as long as a trailer board is used. As previously posted,it makes it into a 4wd turbo-charged trailer!!!

Wish me luck
