Default 20v turbo dump valve question

I have a 20v aan and im trying to find out if without replacing the std valve, i know in some vehiclesthe outlet hose can just be removed and makes it more effective,if this wouldnt work what is the best fitting valve to buy??Cheers

You should not remove or fit a dump valve that exhausts to atmosphere on these engines (if I understand the question correctly). The air is accurately measured and any exhausting to atmosphere can cause errors. Removing altogether on a standard AAN could cause the turbo to stall which is why the valve is there in the first place. Best option is to replace with an equivalent Forge recirculating dump valve.

yea on ebay for around £35 ,il look and see what is now fitted,but this 710n would not be original i take it and give better performance??? Thanks

Get one from a dealer for the price of them. They are better quality.

This is a genuine audi one, it says its a new model for audis is there much difference,or what about these chrome bailey type,any better ,worse,thanks

Would only buy froma reputable source. the bailey type ones are ok but need servicing every yrar or they fail.

have a 710n fitted By MRC when it had the health check and it sounds ace and has given me no grief
