Bought this in December as a runaround while I build my twin engined Golf. It's a really, really nice car but it's not as fast as I'd hoped (it's not slow, I'm just used to faster!), and rather than rip it to shreds to make it lighter and upping the fuel consumption I'd rather someone have it who will appreciate it for what it is! I bought it with the n/s/f wheel trying to escape and the MOT about to run out. That's been rectified with new wishbone bushes and cv joints along the way ![]() Only bad parts - ![]() ![]() ![]() Touch of rust along the top of the screen and the leading edges of the front arches ![]() Small hole in the passenger lower bolster, and the bonnet is marked, but it's not that noticeable, can't really see it in pics. The right bank is tappety from cold and the battery has gone flat from lack of use (jump starts fine and holds a charge after a decent drive) that is totally honestly all that's wrong with it! Comes on standard wheels - ![]() Please don't ask if I'll sell the Borbets, I won't! £1500 ![]() |

I was quite interested fella, but to be honest am put off a little by the rust issues. I don't think you are a million miles away with the price.
Good luck

Does it have FSH? Any receipts for work carried out? What are the tyre conditions? (matching set of decent branded tyres with 6mm of tread, or a mismatch of budget ditchfinders, with 1.6mm of tread)? Look on the positive side! |

agreed, the picture showing the safe cut and the jump leads creates the wrong impression

It is not immediately obvious it is a link.
People are lazy. Audi Coupe quattro 2.8 V6 (not the more common 2.6) 108k miles Tax until June MOT March 2011 Recent cam belt change Loads of history Lowered 60mm on springs S2 twin pot brakes Straight through to backbox Powerflow exhaust (not as loud as you might imagine, very subtle) Nasty walnut trim flocked over in black Clear front and side indicators Electric tilt + slide sunroof Electric windows Electric mirrors Electric rear diff lock Just had a new set of wishbone bushes for the MOT (otherwise went straight through!) Only bits of rust are along the top of the screen and the front edge of the front arches, which isn't rot, just needs sanding back and painting up. Galvanised body means it's totally solid apart from the above! Please note the wheels pictured are not for sale with this car or seperately!!! Car will come on the standard wheels with a good set of Pirelli P6000's on them! £1500 no offers, I'm in no hurry to sell this car! It's currently being stored in my unit. If you wish to call, then my number is 07999 038844, after 3PM! |
