To be honest, I haven't done it sooner because to start with I thought I was asking silly money at £2250 but obviously I'm not!
I'll pipe down and get an ad up, sorry ![]() |

Hey, no worries. If you have any probs let me know. They are a cracking car and relatively rare. Always fancied one myself t.b.h. But I have to make do with a half knackered Rally Rep

I wish you'd bugger off trying to tempt me.
Got to get the rep rebuilt after ADI in October, so no. ![]()

Must admit I'm a little tempted at the price but am put off by potential running costs (compared to my old 16V) and the also the rust issues.

I had 2 over 4 years. One with 188k the other a mint original one on 98k. Other than fluids and tyres and a cam belt change NOTHING went wrong with either car. Very reliable, most reliable of any of the B3/4 cars i have owned, over engineered engine. I did 1500miles a month in both mine and averaged 23mpg in the old one, then coupe did a regualr 28mpg and woudl easy do 30+ on a run.
