Wey hey. Toptotty is Brewed in Stafford at Slaters Brewery. They have been brewing since the early nineties when they started behind the George Hotel in Eccleshall in their Micro Brewery. Won stacks of awards and they set up in direct competiition to the 'Titanic Brewery' in Stoke on Trent. Keith Bott owns Titanic and was a former stalwart of the original Eccleshall R.U.F.C. and they used to drink in 'The Bell' in Eccleshall which is where the rivalry came from, and is also where I learned to fight proper!! Ged Slater ( the Landlord and Headbrewer) is the man behind Slaters and he's a top bloke. The George Hotel is where I grew up. Some of my best nights were spent in their!! Good brew too! He's also one of the only people I know who has an M3 Convertible on Motability!!!

Not a new brewery to be sure but a pretty queer variety that's popular with Spanish/Portaguese fisherman. Yucky.
