and gold star goes too.....
Nogin, the small five amp fuse above the ECU had blown. The carpet has already been cut, ties in as the car has already been remapped.
Really dafty daft place for a fuse to be honest, but glad its a cheap fix. i also reset the ECU and removing blowing and putting on the N75 hoses, i swear its going better.

me too! I was really concerned i had fried the ECU!
Next question is rear numberplate lights. One is out, i replaced the bulb only to see it is working. tap the tailgate and the luight blinks on and off. How do i get to these, established its not through the interior trim.

Want to get rid of the intermittant BEEP you have a bulb out, I know, some days if goes off every 5 seconds, others never flashes up the whole drive.

No they didnt fix crazy locationis of electrics on later cars, if anything it got worse - my C5 A6 had the CCU under the passenger footwell carpet in a false floor, and courtesy of blocked plenum drains ended up under water
