Default May Bank Holiday Weekend! Mallory Park/Stanford Hall campover!

Right, just seeing if there is any interest for this on here.

There's 2 superb shows on over the May Day bank holiday weekend, and both in Leicestershire.

First up, on the Saturday 1st May, The Practical Performance Show will be held at Mallory Park
Attractions include:

•Autotest (bookings in advance £10)
•Club displays
•27Litre Rover SD1
•Rolling Road
•Track action all day
•Track day Rolls Royce- roof chopped, live at the show!
•PPC staff cars
•PPC feature cars
•Tradestands
•Autojumble
•All day track action
•Kitcar rides
•Hotrods on track
•All day bar
•Liveworkshop demonstrations
•The World's fastest lawnmower!
•Ye Olde drifting
•Old Smoky tractor puller
•Drive in Movie
•Burnouts
•Team-X Buggys

The chap at Practical performance is the chap who has the black 20v mtm ur quattro which was in a bump at Mallory towards the end of last year. The good news, it started getting reshelled today!

Right, club discount price for this show is £13.50 (normally £15.00).

You can also camp for £5 for the night.

and then on the Sunday morning, take a short drive (about 20 miles) to Stanford Hall which is without a doubt, the best static VW/Audi/Porsche show in the UK.
There's always a good line up of everything and something for everyone.

Stanford Hall is a 1 day show with pay on the day of £8ish

If you maybe up for this, let me know and I can get a club plot/camping sorted for the Practical Performance show.

To summarise, on Saturday, over to Mallory Park. Pitch up tent, grabs beers, watch someone roof chop a Rolls Royce, and watch cars racing all day, in the evening, kick back with a few beers and mates and on Sunday a leisurely drive to one of the best shows in the UK in a superb location!

Could well be - used to be a regular at Stanford Hall in the 80's & 90's, would be great to go again and the Saturday show sounds like a cracking day - oh and camping with you lot - well, it would be rude not to

Talk about triple booked,

Option 2: Kiddie theatre in Nottingham- tickets bought (Daddy brownie points)
Option 3: Rearranged City v Villa -once again tickets bought- leave kids alone with telly on and bag of sweets for the day
