I used some clay today for the first time and it seems that after doing the bonnet and the roof it still has some life left in it.
I have wrapped it in clingfilm and freturned it to the blue case it arrived in. Have I done right or is there a more preferable way to store used clay?

bin it and get new. If you've used it all over your car then it will be full of shit and contaminants and not worth recycling. Of course if you've only done a door then keep it in a bit of clingy film

A normal clay bar will be good for around 6-8 cars. Just warm the clay up in your hands and fold it over a few times.
No need to put it in clingfilm, just put it back in it's container. One word of warning, if you drop it, just bin it! and clay reacts with Tardis and will be unuseable!
