Seeings as I've got a lovely set of 5 spoke speedline split rims..
What's the chances of em fitting? Will I have to "massage" the steel work, or am I looking at arch extentions? They're going on... just a question of how ![]() I also plan to lower the car, probably on some custom coilovers. (so low...) ![]() |

Providing the stud pattern and bore size is the same...
You shouldn't have to modify the arches with the cars standard suspension. if you slam it to the deck, it may be another matter. You might be able to get tyres with a 45 or 40 profile which could help with clearance. |

they're apparently from an audi, deffo 5x112 with the larger centerbore, so will go on there physically.
I do want to slam the car down fairly low, but it sounds like I can just massage the arches if they'll fit on a standard car. |

Hi Q-K,
looks like a VW bay window van to me? Hi Wedgedout, The 200s have loads of clearance at the front, but the rears are tight. The clearances on the rear are different for 2WD and quattro; the rear track is wider on the quattro, but the bodywork is the same. I have had to run extra negative camber on the rear to allow clearance for even the Fuchs 7x15s, and have eventually gone back to the standard 6s, to get the geometry back to where it should be. Other owners seem to have had less problems than me, so either the cars vary, or I am too fussy......... AlanB |

Hi Wedgedout,
I think you will need to do something....... A set of the 20V arches would help, but I don't know where to find those, only the fronts. AlanB |

everything is said.
without reworking the rear arches, maximum is 7,5" ET35.. and sometimes depending on the make of tyre, you have to pull a little bit on the arches. I had the case when I fitted the V8 wheels on my 200, with Bridgestone RE720 tyres (205/60/15). A friend of mine has also put the V8 wheels, but for him it was ok, the tyres were in the same size, but not from Bridgestone you could find some 200 20V front wings here : http://sites.internet.lu/folders/cus...craft/main.htm |
