Well, it was sitting at £640 for a few days and with a day left, it shot up to £5200.
Then the bids were cancelled and went back down the £640.

He'd indicated that he was after £1700 for it and with about 30 minutes left, the bids suddenly managed to go up to £1650.

So, next bid would be £1700 which funnily enough was what he was after for it!

but, that never happened, as the auction ended with £1650 being the highest bid.

Low and behold, obviously his mate who bid £1650 didn't want it so he's relisted it!
Now, call be a sceptical twat, but I don't think that's far off the truth as to how the bidding went!

Mines up for sale for £995 and has 71k on the clock.

I think if he's after £1700, he's been a tad optimistic.

I sent this email to him earlier and as it happens, I've just had a reply

Dear wexhamcars,

Hi there
was watching this last time when it sold for £1650.
Is there any reason why the winning bidder did not complete the
auction?
Is the car as good as it says it is?

this was his reply:

YES
Yes to what?
Yes to a reason why the winning bidder didn't complete!
