Thumbs down

Missus B had a TD4 Free Loader, total sack of cak. Wouldn't go anywhere in the snow better than my trusty old Borat TDI.
I had a Shogun 2.8 TD and it was magnificent, never ever let me down or met conditions it couldn't cope with.
Discovery 3? Shocking shite. Had a brand new one delivered to work, went out in it and upon turning left at the 1st junction the shit heap acted like one of those yank cars with hydraulic lifts; turns out sone twat at the factory hadn't filled up the ACE reservoir (Active Cornering Enhancement). And then it started it's Deux Ex Machina phase; windows going up and down on their own, various warning lights flashing on and off for no reason....
Tip em all off Beachy Head is my suggestion 

the pajero is a real headcracking piece of tripe, and a hideously expensive wagon to have to buy parts for!!!

Strange that wifeys garage has had Land Rovers and Shoguns through in a ratio of over 10:1 !
I repeat, rather have a Shogun than a Landy.
And how many to the gallon in your Shogun? Guess you couldn't find the selector lever that puts it in 2wd High ratio???? Sounds like you were in 4wd low to me 

I once had a classic range rover brooklands with a tvr engine and it was great, do anything,go anywhere, pull anything and my god towing a trailer what a sound. It sadly got written off so i thought id upgrade to a p38 4.6 HSE range rover........... what junk cost u fortune in spares and really horrible in the lanes. It skipped about all over the place. Change everything on it, airbags, all bushes, new tyres you name it it was changed. Managed to sell it and went out and got an audi agian

Would have a Series land rover any day..... they are real.

Cool

P38's are council-estate fodder, the liners fail, suspension is u/s, and the 4.6 was the worst culprit. Had a mate who used to buy knackered ones (that's most of them then) and make one good one out if two. Or three or four.....
