You may want to compare results with this free link.

I found it more reliable (not as optimistic) as Speednet. Maybe 'cos you have to specify your provider. I got 1Mb less than Speednet showed on download speeds. Cheers.

Linux does the same, only it's priceless and newest distributions still can be run on, let's say, P2 400 MHz/256 MB RAM
It's the same as with cars - if ur lazy, buy porsche, if not - buy audi
