heve you gotten the new shocks yet, sometimes the come with replacement caps, if the do just make a relief cut ont the old ones, carefully as not to weaken the tube!

Yesterday, I was a miserable, cranky B'staad. I like to keep a sense of balance.

To the OP. A spare set of strut legs is a very convenient way to go, as you can get everything prepped for a straight swap. If you do that, though, you need to consider the state of wheel bearings, for instance, as these will be an unknown.
