The original Audi p/n's for the circa 1988 Audi 100 accumulators seem to be: 857 612 061C (>>44-J-211 253) 443 612 061H (44-J-211 254>>) For 125 Euro's (+ Carriage) you can get a brand new O.E. one from here (as well as some other 100 goodies it seems!): http://homepage.internet.lu/customau...100_200_v8.htm |

PeterB,
Have you used custom autocrafts before? If so, how did you find dealing with them, paying arrangements etc? ![]() |

Superb to deal with too. I set up a bank transfer as payment after a couple of emails to and from Paul to confirm part no.'s and details etc. (Also a small fee was incurred to the bank for transfering funds abroad, as usual). Smooth transaction though, recommended. ![]() |

Sounds like a handy site to know of.
Yesterday I did a quick Google search for an accumulator just to see what was thrown up and there seem to be a few websites in the USA offering new units, so at least they are still being made. However, over here in Blighty new accumulators are a bit harder to source for pre 1988 cars. Febi seems to be the name of one company still making it so I looked for a UK outlet and discovered this: http://partsforallcars.com/spares/febi.php I didn't contact them but I wonder whether they would be a good UK source? ![]() |
