You have to start somewhere, making your pov known is a start.
If the media pick up on a petition getting lots of public attention then it gets noticed by more and more people.
The more people who sign it the better, just voting them out doesnt fix the problem, they have to be personally accountable to us and the only way thatll happen is when theyre subject to criminal penalties, as we are.

Ok, Politically we on this forum are all as different in our opinions as anywhere else, what I feel is right others wont and vice versa and thats just fine.
What I feel isnt fine is our politicians of all persuasions doing just what they want via the means of deception, misdirection or plain good old lies without any comeback for the damages they invariably do.
Id like to hold them to account via the criminal justice system rather than simply voting them out of office to be replaced with yet more of the same next time around, hence my petition.

Have a nosey at it, hope youll all sign it and pass it around.

My petition and the actual text:

"Enact a law making deception and lying by politicians a criminal offence.

Politicians hold a priviliged position that has the potential to create damage to the welfare of the country and its populace when personal or party agendas take precedence. Using deceit, lies or misdirection to pass legislation or support a position is unacceptable and must stop.

No action is ever taken against politicians whose actions while in government damages the country physically, socially or financially. Basically politicians make it up as they go along, experimenting with aspects they dont grasp or have a personal axe to grind in doing so, example, Tony Blair and the unwritten mass immigration policy, David Camerons Lisbon Treaty referendum promise. Politicians need to be financially and personally accountable to the public, we need a law to hold them to."

Total agreement from me Tony the elite need to be held to account,democracy has been hijacked by a bunch of psychopathic,war mongers who put profit before human life ,the enviroment and everything else,transfering wealth to their private coffers at all our expense.We as a species are a heading for an enviromental disaster,the oceans are full of plastic,pcbs,mercury,cadmium and radiation continues to pour into the pacific from Fukushima,this year has seen the highest ocean temps on record and more die offs of species than ever recorded,and what do our leaders say nothing to worry about,its business as usual for the psychopaths ,its time for action,we need leaders who are accountable and look out for us all not just the chosen few.Its the same in the usa,people need to get their heads out the sand and waken up,these twats are hellbent on destruction and do not care who they take with them.Do not be fooled by their rhetoric of fear ,hate and division,thats what they want keep us divided, then they can carry on with their crimes against humanity and nature.I've been working on many,many petitions from human beings all over the earth trying to get those in power to pay attention and do the right thing,with regard to human suffering and destruction of the enviroment ,its a slow process,but we are not going away,we are not giving up,expect us!

This ongoing killing of cetateans has been my main focus over the last few months,marine parks were shut down in the uk due to the cruelty involved but continue elsewhere.
