I first posted these back in the early days of classic Audi in 2007 when I was rolling around in a 2.3 coupe and a 80 avant!
They have sat in the various sheds / garages across the country ever since and whilst the boxes have become a little more tatty the parts are still spot on. Fuel Pump relay - Brand new in box, slotted it in to check mine wasnt at fault but it wasnt the relay that was causing the trouble (turned out to be a dodgy breather pipe) genuine vag, brought for 91 2.3 ng engine, but i'm sure it'll fit others. Cost me a small fortune, but yours for just £10. ![]() new front shock inserts (brought for 95 80 avant tdi but may fit others) sachs / boge £20 pair. New front caliper (girling) (brought for the coupe but will also fit others) offside £20 will post (via courier at very reasonable cost) / can be collected from Telford. |

Might be interested in the shocks for my 100 Quattro. How do you go about changing the shockies on these?

The shocks are inserts, you have to take the strut out and the spring off (using spring compressors) swap the inserts and rebuild.

I've got the tool - used it about four times now. I've always had to replace more stuff than just the insert, so I've never got close to the fabled 5 mins. It is MUCH nicer to use than a humongous Stilson and saves you cringing with embarrassment whenever friends spot the tell-tale teeth marks on the cap.
