i did not know there where that many spitfire left what a sight to see, i can remeber when i was 13 years old saving all my pocket money to built a 1 in 24 scale spitfire, it took me over 5 weeks to built it what a plane

Nice one, I built this a few years ago as a tribute to such a gorgeous classic machine. Took me 3 months!!

Beautiful sight.
I was lucky enough to be down at our local Reservoir a couple of weeks ago. It's quite a pretty spot but the morning was really made when a Spitfire flew overhead, did a roll, flew off and then came back and did the same again.

just a small thing though, was the first clip filmed by one of the many who line up outside the perimeter fence so they dont have to pay admission and so indirectly dont contribute finacially to the upkeep of these planes?
