Hi,
I have a 1990 Audi 100 2.3 quattro Avant which I really like, and drive everyday. I have the chance to buy a 1990 Audi 100 Avant 2.2 turbo (same colour and everything I think), which is the 182BHP engine, but the owner has changed the ECU and apparently its no 200bhp or so. If I have the complete car, how hard is it to transplant the engine, ECU and relevant wiring etc across? The 100 turbo is 2WD, so I won't be using the gearbox. Does the engine loom for my 2.3 non turbo engine just unplug from the fuse panel, and then plug the 100 turbo engine loom in? It seems like too good an opportunity to miss....... especially as I will have a ready supply of spares........... Steve |
