Hi,
I'm dropping the kv engine from my 1986 90 quattro and replacing it with a 7a engine from a later 90. I'm sticking with the original gearbox which wont take the 7a flywheel and clutch. I've already sourced the required flywheel, from a 10v turbo ( thanks quattrokid ) now I'm after a clutch to match this. The kv clutch is far too small and the 7a clutch is only slightly to large in diameter. Sorry I don't have measurements, the clutches aren't to hand just now. According to Eurocarparts it's a 240mm clutch I need for 10v turbo wr. 230mm for kv and 240mm for 7a. I cant get the pressure plate to line up with the locators on the 10v turbo flywheel with the 240mm clutch I have. I'm needing the friction plate ? and the pressure plate ? but not the bearing as the one off the kv is used. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks. Michael Williams. |
