Which Ronal R8 size do you guys feel would be the most versital size to remanufacture in all three VAG PCD's ( 4x100/4x108/5x112)?
I think for the greatest range of models, spacers added to those that really wish to push the look to 8", that 7x15 et 42 on all 3 bolt patterns would be the one. As near as I can tell R8's were produced in the following sizes. 5.5x13et38/4x100PCD 6x14et45/4x100&108 PCD 6x14et35/4x100 (dished) 6x15et35/4x100 6x15et42/4x100 6x15et45/4x108 7x15et22/5x112 (dished) 7x15et28/4x100 (deep dished) 7x15et35/4x100&108/5x112 (dished) 7x15et37/4x100 (dished) 7x15et42/4x100&108/5x112 (dished) 8x15et24/4x108/5x112 (dished) 9x15et11/4x108 (dished) ![]() While I'm understandingly partial to the extra deep dish of the 7x15 et 28's on my car, the offset is at the limit without flaring the fenders. ![]() Thoughts? |
