Default pas rack and suspension questions

I am replacing my engine as most of you know, a aby lump should be filling the engine bay on my type 85 cq, however it seems that now is the right time to replace any hard to reach items, i.e the steering rack, my car had 120k on the clock, is there anything that you guys can advise. I wondered about reconditioning the rack, but not sure what that entails or who could do that. Any advice on this matter would be great.

Also whilst I have your attention, I am going to be fitting the complete suspension from gavs cab, will it all bolt straight on? If I change the springs to something other than standard what would you suggest?
