msh, some people like to do things differently.
Its not always simply about out and out speed.. + I'd have thought the supercharger will offer better torque throughout the rev range combined with better power and response lower down more in common with a naturally aspirated car, rather than a peaky high powered turbo. And besides, you drive on torque. potentially making a supercharged KV cq able to keep with a more powerful S2 on a B road, possibly. someone said to me on the S2 forum that a supercharger fitted to my 2.5 may give me 220bhp.. Not a lot, but it would be the 'best' 220 bhp of any engine. (maybe) ![]() |
