iv been a bizzy bunny today up early and out to cholmondeley castle to sort out tickets for the pagent of power in july then on my way back i called in to oulton park to watch QRsports 80 quattro supper tourizzmo touring car race for the first time in this country mainly because there was not a searies for it to compete in but now there is , it was blisteringly quick with 400bhp from a 2L four pot turbo charged engine that can be turned up to 600bhp via a knob on the dashboard it is a magnificent peace of ROC engineering , but besides that there was a great spread of cars entered and a great watch especialy the mk2 escort with a cosworth turbo motor in it spitting flames at least 6 foot on most gear changes .IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN BUILDING THERE OWN TIM COOPER AT RENN TECH HAS THE ORIGIONAL ROC MOULDS . HE HAS ONE UNDER CONSTRUCTION NOW .


the downpipe far left of bay is made of inkanell its paper thin and strong as hell and withstands emense heat


huge air cooled front break set up


rear breaks are cooled via a scoop in the top of the rear wing






some of the other bits of kit included a TR8 and an SD1 the sd1 was sideways coming out of nickerbrook every lap
















also bumped into anthany hurst whos brother was racing a ex bttc vectra but as you can see the things people will do to get away from me it didnt work as i circled till he got hungry
