Default 80 Sport Electrical Gremlins

When the indicator is ticking the voltage meter ticks as well, moves left & right very slightly, and when the lights are turned on the volt meter drops a tad. Is this normal? If it is normal I did not realise the volt meter is so live!

Also the oil temp stays very low like it is not working ? What should be the normal running temp for a B2 Sport? Maybe my temp sensor is dodgy.

Do these cars have a bad earth problem? I am wondering whether a weak earth is causing these issues, I was planning on re-earthing the car over the weekend just in case it is that.

Sorry if these look like stupid posts, I just don't know anything about a B2 Sport!
