Standard price for these four years ago when I was on here every day was £900. The vampires used to buy them just for the engine and scrap the rest. You could get an MB for five grand not long ago. So everything is subjective. Cars are worth what people will pay for them. And if they're paying £3.5 K for a 2.8cq with 150k on it why not try £2k for one with a boot and 125k?
![]() Doors and bumpers are cheap.I'd like to be able to pay five grand for this with ultra low mileage, but with most of these old things approaching moon miles/being broken the price becomes dictated by availability, and investment prospects, not what they cost four years ago. .
