Indicator/hazard warning problem

Hi,
after being parked up for well over a year my B2 80 Sport is finally being put back into service! I`ll be taking it for am mot soon,everything seems ok apart from the indicators and hazard warning. When i flick the indicator stalk nothing happens the green arrow in the dash illuminates but does not flash,same thing happens when i flick the hazard warning switch,solid green arrow in the dash. The indicators don`t illuminate at all.
Any ideas,suggestions greatly appreciated indeed.
