Had a dry run on my blue q90,getting an injector out.
![]() Soaked the injector seat with WD40 and had a coffee.Using a brake-line spanner,I twisted it abit and kept soaking it with WD40.Got a pair of long nosed bent pliers and carefully, prised it out. Got it out and gave it a clean.Looking at the actual injector,it has 2 seals.(1xsmall+1xlarge.) Is the larger seal surposed to be soft rubber or hard?My was hard, but I don't know if 20 odd years of heat, has hardened it? I notice the seat, was left in the head. How do you get the seat, out of the head?Haven't done any research(Vagcat.com,down ) and I thought it would be good info, for other members on here. How many seals are there,in all?(Each, seat and injector.) Want to get this all sorted, before I have ago on my red q90. Thanks.
