Here we have for sale my stunning 1976 Audi 100GL.
This is only up for sale as a move of house and a certain single cab split screen have caught my eye... This is, dare I say, a rare car. It is the higher specced GL model. It features a full Rayvern Air-ride set-up hidden underneath the rear seat which leaves the huge boot area empty. Wheels are Porsche Fuchs polished and detailed all round. Interior is standard from factory and is immaculate apart from small nick in rear seat, seats look like they have hardly been sat on to be honest. Dashboard is perfect with no cracks at all. Radio has had cassette player fitted, however, original radio is available. Bodywork is very good all over, there are patches on the front wings which require attention but can be easily repaired. Inside the engine bay the bodywork again is very good, there is a small hole at the end of the scuttle panel which again is easily repairable. Inside the boot the paint work is immaculate too. Engine is standard 1871cc carb which runs perfectly and gets driven on dry weekends and whenever i feel like a cruise. Pulls very well for a massive car! since owning the car i have restored the fuel tank and replaced fuel lines throughout and filters. The underside of the car is absolutely solid. The car has covered 54,000 miles from new with 3 owners including myself. Full history goes to 47,000 miles, the car was then kept in a garage until 2007 from 1998! All bills and services I have copies of along with original invoice from the dealer. MOT'd for 11 months (which it flew through). All original parts which consist of suspension, wheels and radio are included in the sale Price wise i am looking around £5000 |
