Hello all,
Bit miffed - just spent £318 on a new inner CV joint and the whining sound is still there! It's a noticable grinding/whining noise when you accelerate - be it gently or otherwise. The noise developed within a 24 hour period and seems here to stay! Do you think it could be terminal? It's a shame because the rest of the car is almost immaculate and it has a near perfect maintenance history from new. Just wondering at this stage whether to cut my losses and sell it - or god forbid scrap it if I can't get to the bottom of the problem. Especially having recently forked out on a £250 service. Has anyone had any experience of this? Thanks in advance! James |
