Default When it comes to the crunch.

And youre faced with an extreme situation not of your making, one that is dangerous, life threatening even, things really arent like youd ever think theyd be.
So i found out last night.

People who know me, know im not the violent sort, i steer well clear of problems of that kind and always have, its a small and distant part of my makeup altogether and im very much like my grandad in that respect, id rather walk away.
So to find yourself caught up in the unfolding drama of a serial violent, aggressive council estate tough guy, intent on sending you to a different sphere of existence is a little disconcerting looking back, but not for the fear of being harmed, which is quite odd in itself.
No, the fear of what lies within is now far more intimidating than anything else.
Like i said earlier, i didnt want any part of it, but what can you do when he's attempting to kick in the door to a family members place and brutalise them because he thinks they have no one to stand up for them and he can just do what he wants to them without any response?
Well, you just do what you can.

Im not going to relate the specifics to any degree, theyre unimportant and glorifying what transpired isnt right as this isnt intended as any kind of boast, im well aware that things could have gone easily the other way and im not a tough guy.
Ill say this tho, pure utter rage with the force it unleashes is a hell of a thing.
To see a +15 stone man ragged around by your own hands like a dolly in some kind of hazy slowmotion nightmare is another, but so many strange things seem to have happened in that short space of time that Id not be surprised if i went a funny green shade while it was going down, thats how surreal it still feels.

Even tho i hardly got a scratch unlike him, id not recommend close quarter battle, but then again, when it comes to the crunch.....

However, the 5 or so cops that turned up gave me the once over and carted him off after he was stopped from rampaging still deserve a "thank you" tho. Thanks fellas!

Listening to this, drinking tea and trying to make sense of it all...
