I have now owned this classic car for over 3 years, I have methodically serviced it myself every 6 months and if I was keeping it I would do another service soon.
The oil, oil filter, air filter, plugs and distributor cap were changed six months ago so it will be up to you to decide on how soon and how much to service it.. It also comes with a brand new set of ignition leads that I never got round to fitting and 4 very well treaded tyres.
It has a huge service history prior to me buying it as it was owned by a bank manager.

I paid £300 for this car and I am only selling as I got one of those offers that you can’t refuse! I just can’t justify hanging on to it any longer.

I reckon it was a bargain at £300 3 years ago, and it is still a bargain at £300 today. However, at £100 it is a gift. Don’t ask me about breaking this car, it is now a classic, and I personally will not break it.

It has been very reliable in all the time I have owned it and it still is. I can get over 40mpg driving and I don’t find that difficult, but I have been told I am a very boring driver. I prefer to call it safe though.

There is some surface rust on the car, but it is only very surface and I would be very surprised if it needs any welding for the MOT in January.

Problems?
1. Apart from the surface rust, the choke tends to be on a bit longer than it should be, and it can pop back on when you don’t expect it, but it was like that when I got it and I have got used to it. It probably should be done, but I have just treated it as the eccentricity it is, because it runs perfectly as soon as the choke disengages, and the fuel consumption is low anyway.
2. I do have a MOT certificate, I just cant find it. However you don’t actually need one anymore as it is on the government records and the police can simply check on their computers instantly, so you don’t need hard copy.
If you are keen on an MOT certificate you can get a duplicate for only £10.
I think that is about that as far as faults go.

I have kept this car despite getting something snazzier as it is a good reliable motor, but now space is needed so sadly the wife says it has to go.

If you want a look get in touch, you will be pleasantly surprised. PM me I live in Grimsby!
