hi up for sale is my daily run around, its a 1981 audi 80 ls 1.6.
the reason im selling it is because i really dont need it anymore, ive got a van and a scooter i ride to work on now and my vw beetle should hopefully be back on the road soon...

im only asking £600 which is a bargain i just want back what it owes me as i do not need the money to buy another car.

i have used it daily for a year or so and drives great, its been lowered 60mm and has period BBS alloy wheels fitted other than that its standard, i bought it from a garage who had got it from a guy whos dad had just died, he had owned it since new so technically im the 2nd owner as all the garage did was fit a new battery a little welding and 2 tires...

i had running problems with it recently which turned out to be the carb, i got a new one from a guy from this website and it runs great now

good bits

- it has only done 74,000 miles
- the body work and paint is in great condition
- the interior is like new
- 4 door
- massive boot
- really practical daily but still looks cool
- turns heads

bad bits

- when i got it the old guy must have reversed in to the garage door a few times and scuffed the paint... i have repair it and re sprayed it, the colour was mixed to the paint code but due to the age of the car it is slightly out so i resprayed the whole rear end to match it up (2 pack paint and laquer). now it hardly notices
- small surface rust bubbles in a few places.. mainly bottom of doors can show pics if required (very slight but i like to be honest when selling a car)
- small tear to headliner (going to sew up though)
- the sills have been patched by the garage but its 29 years old so i let it off, looking at it its the only welding it has had.

i got it for a bargain of ebay ive lowered it 60mm fitted the wheels sorted out the body work and cleaned and sorted any little things that needed doing... so £600 for a very low milage unmolested car

MOT till december 29th 2010
2-3 months tax

needs a hoover out
