crisarc Senior Member Classic Audi Club Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: shrewsbury Posts: 1,172	had the same issue on a my 1st kg 200q, it was the big relay,,,43 stamped on i think, and on the later cars if the battery is disconnected, then reconnected the ac head unit goes straight to auto mode , so the fan is running on 1st speed , usually the 43 relay will make the fan run at full speed ie cooling, rather than ac speeds, which are slower, good luck with the fix chris __________________
