A pretty clean H-reg 90 has turned up. It is recorded as a Category C insurance total loss due to damage to the rear of the car. The rear bumper has been bumped & I'm guessing the rear panel will be pushed in a little. There is no specific damage to the bumper & the panel will come out okay I'd have thought. Whilst the boot lid catches off the top bumper trim when opening & shutting, there's no damage to the boot lid or lights & to the passing eye it doesn't look damaged at all. It will most likely require a VIC test.
The front wings are rusty; the o/s/r arch at the bottom of the dog leg has a little rust. Otherwise it's very clean & tidy indeed & has signs of having been well looked after. It looks very fresh in white, it's an SE model & has a set of aftermarket alloys shod with 205/50 R15 tyres. It does have 143k miles on the clock, but it sounds healthy, with no untoward noises & it seems to drive well. Due to the buoyant price of scrap it's priced accordingly, but I personally wouldn't like this one to meet it's maker just yet. ![]()
