Yeah stick me down with the 90q although I really can't believe it's turned into another vag day, very disappointing. In my opinion adi is (was??) the highlight of the show season.I would have thought that dropping the price of the track time would encourage more people to go on it.

Perhaps clarification can be sought from Autometrix
How much more clarification would you like?? I'll copy and paste the email if you like? I spoke to Sally about it on the phone too.

Well, last summer i was at the mallory park event (pretty sure it was an audi only event??) but there was a hoard of peugout 106s going around aswell. All i can think is they were so short on ticket sales that they asked any old tom, dick and harry to have a go

Yeah, remember the nobber in the Saxo who binned it quite early on in the day? It's definitely a shame.

Although I don't think I've been to any other events at Castle Combe apart from ADI (excepting the trackday on 25/07/09) and I seem to remember Mk1 Golfs being on track in the past? Am I going mad or does that ring a bell for anyone else?

I kinda figure that given the timing of the email (very shorlty after the VW/Audi track day, and given the fact that the event was down in numbers and as event slike these are not cheap to put on, then it is a way of gaining an extra bit of revenue on the day.
Can't see a major problem really. There maybe a few extra VAG cars dotted around in the car park, and a few more on the track, but that just adds to a little more competition.

All good racing another Audi on the track but it becomes even more of a grudge match when it's got a VW badge on the front!!
