There are Ronals available in 8" wide. Not sure about the classic styles though. Ronal Turbos would be the nicest

think you will find that 8" 16 spoke ronals ( 25mms ET )will rub on the rear arches....... ridden in a 200 version with them and they definately rubbed, although we were going around Castle Coombe at the time, but still a problem the owner said.

Best thing is to see if you can borrow a couple and test on the rear. What about the forged Fuchs that were on the early Quattros and were also fitted to the type 44 100 Sport ??

Hi Guys,

The 100/200 quattros have a wider rear track than the 2wd versions, so there is more clearance on the non-quattros.

I am pushed to get 7s on my quattro, (although other cars seem to be fine with them!) so I would guess that 8s would be tight even on a 2wd??

I currently have 7x15 16-spoke Ronals for my 200; basically a 5-stud version of the wheel so popular on the coupe quattros.

Rare, but I have seen a couple of other sets, although they won't be for sale.

The ROC racing 100 from a French series in the mid 1980s , team sponsored by Malardeau, use some very neat wheel arch extensions at the rear.......I'm sure much cost would be involved in doing a similar job properly for a road car that needs proper protection
