hi all, after replaceing the fuel distributor block on my 100 type 43 fuel is now getting to the injectors but seems to be to much as its flooding the plugs the mechanic tried adjusting but to no avail ,so its now gone from( no fuel )and now (to much),, any ideas

is there a flap in the air box that needs to be set at the right hight ? |

if it was to be this would the car not even try to start as it only turns over and over and makes no attempt to fire at all ,,,would this also known as the fuel accumalator that sits beside the pump?
