Supposedly snow on the way
midlands to get some snow over the next few days
 now where have i heard that before  oh yes central news .I wonder if they might get it right this time.? |

FIFE is also out of salt
what are they putting on thier chips then  our street has about 8 inches of solid ice on it.... and not a grain of salt has been laid.

The West Sussex CC gritters are brilliant, the roundabout at Patching, where the depot is, just next to the A27 is like Pendine Sands this time of year, you're more likely to spin on the marble sized grit than ever get caught out by the ice or snow...
The rest of the county just fends for itself, under a blacket of sheet ice...
