stuffed wheel

i stuffed a wheel up a while ago and pretty much gave up on it having knocked the balance out on it. Is there however anything I can do with it so I can use it again?

take it down a tyre fitters and see if they can rebalance it. Should only cost a few £££

it s a bit more that simple balancing unfortunately. I didn't make that clear sorry. it hit a curb very hard after having to swerve out the way and couldn't avoid the curb to it flattened the rim on the inside. you have to properly look at it to see but lead wont do it sadly. can I fix it my self or anything with a bit of effort and time?

Best thing is to weigh it in for scrap, even repaired, would you trust it with your life at 100mph?

amen. The cost of a replacement wheel would be far cheaper than trying to repair/refurb your rim.

i was hoping that wasnt going to be the answer but was suspecting it to be =o(
The wheel in question is this TSW 17" I can't remember the model.

I was toying with the idea of heating the wheel and hammering against a piece of wood cut to the curve of a good wheel to get it within balancable parameters ( I think I made a word up there)

Am I being unrealistic attempting this?
